I still love Nokia phones!

Have been using Nokia phones for many years. My first handphone was a Ericsson, thereafter I switch to Nokia phone and I was hooked to it. Up till now, I still own a Nokia phone. I think Nokia phones are user friendly and the design is nice. Am thinking of switching to the latest model above. Do you all think the above phone is nice, do give me your opinions.

Some more nice top!

The clothes I like (From Shoplah)!

Am ordering the above item from Shoplah! an online shopping website. Find that their clothes are very trendy and priced reasonably.

This is what my new student, stephanie said to me during her class last wednesday. She's so sweet and clever and really knows how to get into people's good books. Stephanie: Teacher, you are very pretty! Me: No lah, not pretty lah! Stephanie: Teacher, your Maths is very good! Me: So I can teach you! Stephanie: Teacher, I like your teaching... Me: Thank you.

Trip to Beijing

First day back to business, father's durians were all sold out. It was a Sunday and there were a lot of customers coming forward to buy durians. There were some customers who wanted to buy but the durians were sold out!

My eyes on you...

Love for buttons...

My family members made me realise that I have a love for buttons! Buttons on bags, button on clothes, buttons anywhere! I am just crazy about buttons. How about you? Do you like buttons as much as I do? Do share with me :)

Meet the new LG KP500

Meet LG high end full touch screen phone which my sis has bought that day. It also comes with an easy-to-use smart handwriting recognition function. Touch screen is the buzz word today. Though I have used the Nokia 6300 for a year since last May, my next target phone would be a touch screen phone.

Random post: Star Awards, My Penang Trip & Fortune Telling

1. The only thing I want to say about the Star Awards is that I discovered that Chen Hanwei's acting has improved. 2. I remembered I once travelled to Penang alone, on my own. Recently I had read an article which reports that time spent alone is therapeutic. Here's the article: I love to be alone. This may sound absurd, but for me, being alone is somewhat therapeutic. On one hand, you could chalk this up to the fact that I am an only child. Many only children are very comfortable being alone and are happy doing things by themselves. Or, you might think it is because I am an introvert (Although I have very extroverted moments, I am indeed an introvert at heart). It doesn't matter what I do when I am alone, as long as I get my 'me time' fix. I might shop. I might write. I might take a run. I might take a bath. I might even just veg out in front of the TV. Whatever the activity, it gives me the time I need to get away from others and to let myself recha

Iluma at Bugis

Went to Iluma at Bugis just now and bought a pair of sandals from D & C. Observed that most of the shops are still not opened yet at this stage. Iluma, a 10 story shopping mall with more than 150 outlets, is located within the Bugis district. Just to sidetrack a bit, this is what my PCC kakhi thinks of me: "Chatted over the phone with my pcc kakhi (let's call her L) last night, were laughing most of the time. Was surprised that she is still single despite that she is pretty and older but hey, she looks much younger than her actual age!"

Gradual change in hairstyle...

Today marks the "dramatic" change in my hairstyle. I have kept long hair from 2006, 2007 up to 2008, so I think it's time for a change. So what do you think of my new hairstyle?

Using my things...

I am glad my sister is using the travel bag that I bought at a discount last time. She also shared some of the clothes such as cardigans with me. It's ok to share things cos more people are using it so there's a value for money. This also shows that I am not a possessive and selfish person.

My sister with her new hat!

My IKEA chest of drawers

Just to share what I put in my drawers so that some of you may get some storage and home organization ideas from there. These are the items I put in my drawers: 1. Packets of tissue paper 2. Photo Albums (of my trips to Korea, Turkey, Genting etc) 3. Magazines (Home decor magazines etc) 4. Files (of my utilities bills, handphone bills, CPF statements, Insurance statements etc) 5. Books (Buddhist books, self improvement books etc) I simply love the beige colour finish of my drawers.

My best friend and her daughter

Huili, how have you been?

Just now, in the afternoon, I ran into my old secondary school classmate, Huili and we exchanged contacts (handphone number) just downstairs my house. She still looks the same after so many years. We have not met each other for so many years after we left school. It is such a nice feeling to see her again. I also managed to get her email account so I could view her photos and chat with her thru msn and facebook.

I am the lucky winner!

Was informed by Pauline that I am the lucky winner for her current blog giveaway which closed at 7th March (2359hrs Singapore Time). She is giving away one of those Mini Chic Clutch and if we can guess correctly which is the one she is planning to give away, we'll stand a chance to win it. This is the message I left in her blog and she managed to pick me out of the 32 others who have guessed correctly: I simply love red. I guess and I hope you are giving away the red clutch :)

Rental of VCD again...

I find that "The Brink of Law" is a nice TVB drama with many twists and turns, that's why I had decided to watch it again. I rented it from Grand Central Video Pte Ltd and it costs $1 per episode which means a total of $26 for 26 episodes. Yeah, I can watch it again together with my family - one of my leisure activity... :)

New member in my house!

Today I welcomed the arrival of a new member to my house - The EPSON STYLUS OFFICE TX300F Printer/Scanner/Copier with fax function. The downside of it is it is very noisy. Here's a picture of it.

Nice blouse

An achievement for me

It was an achievement for me.. After having stopped singing on stage for so long, last nite I managed to sing with full confidence on stage. It was really an accomplishment for me. I am also glad to receive the support from Dad. He kept saying: "You are good, you are good!" Haha :)

Goodbye 2008, hello 2009

Went to Chinatown last nite with Dad and Mom. Ran into my bugis neighbour at CK. She saw me too and smiled at me. Dad bought a new blouse and Mom bought a new pants. I also bought a pair of new heels which cost $22. Received a new year SMS from Bee Ying last nite. Glad that she still remembers me. 30 Dec 2008 (Tue) Went to Watch Ip Man with sis. Wow, the movie was great with all the stunts and kung fu. Went to watch it at one of Cathay's cineplexes at AMK Hub. The show started at 7.10pm. Really can see the difference between Cathay and Eng Wah's cineplexes. Even the staff at Cathay was dressed in much smarter uniforms than Eng Wah's staff. It's been a long time since we last watched a movie. The last movie I watched was Bolt at Eng Wah.
