KL Delight Seafood Restuarant - KL 新天海鲜 (6 Sep, Tuesday)

I saw on Facebook that they have this S$10 Sea Bass Promotion until 14th Sep 2016, so I asked my family to join me for dinner. We had the 东坡肉 (Braised Pork Belly) at S$15, the omelette at S$8 and the Sea Bass at S$10.

They have 11 types of cooking method for the Sea Bass
1. Steam in Bean Sauce
2. Deep Fried
3. Deep Fried with Sweet & Sour Sauce
4. Deep Fried in Thai Style
5. Steam in Teochew Style
6. Steam in Assam Style
7. Steam in Si Chuan Style
8. Steam in Garlic & Chilli
9. Steam in Hong Kong Style
10. Steam in Thai Style with Lime
11. Steam in Nonya Style


We chose the Steam Teochew Style. The sauce of the fish was not salty and flavourful enough and the flesh of the fish not tender enough. My mother's cooking is still better.

But the pork belly and omelette were acceptable.

Grand Total of bill came up to S$44.90, since it will be my sis's birthday next week, this will be my advance birthday treat for her.

Very good deal. I would always stick to my favorite deep fried sweet and sour sauce.

Wow 11 types of cooking for Sea Bass. That is really interesting. I love Sweet n Sour, Assam, Thai Style and also Nyonya.

Good deal! They must have given you a big fish because I heard for bigger seabass their meat is tougher than young or smalp seabass.

I love Teochew steamed fish plus any version that is spicy or sweet sour. The food looks delicious!
