Vegetarian Fish Cutlet Rice

Today is the First of the Chinese Lunar Month, so I decided to have some vegetarian food. The vegetarian fish cutlet is very crispy and fragrant, I love it. This costs S$4.50 and the Barley drink costs S$1.20, grand total S$5.70. The fish is slightly different from what I had here.

Do you go vegetarian every 1st and 15th of the lunar month? Good that you like the taste of the deep fried vegetarian fish.

I know a chap fan place in SS2 that sells vegetarian fare. I tried it once but I didn't quite like it.

My better half also eats vegetarian on the first day of CNY - this concept is foreign to most Sarawakians though, we don't practise this. I haven't eaten vegetarian food in a long time but I don't mind eating it, even suggested it to my dear in Hokkaido while visiting the shrine coz supposedly their shrine food is quite nice. Haha.
