Korean Drama Oh My Venus

I just finished watching the 16 episodes of this Korean Drama Oh My Venus.

It is a light romantic comedy starring So Ji Sub and Shin Min-a. This show is subtle, crisp and intriguing and it moved me to tears when Kim Young Ho (in the show) was hospitalized. I love the storyline, casts and the OST of this drama.

This is the plot from Wikipedia:

Kim Young-ho, a.k.a John Kim, is a personal trainer to Hollywood stars. Despite his family's wealth, Young-ho suffered a devastating illness in his childhood. But he believes living a healthy lifestyle and exercise is the only way to survive. He uses this to run from his family issues. His fear of his father and pity for his grandmother. A Hollywood scandal with an actress has him on the run back to Korea.
Kang Joo-eun was once an ulzzang in her teens, semi-famous for her pretty face and enviable figure. Now a 33-year-old lawyer, she has gained a lot of weight since. She passes out on a flight from the U.S. back to Korea and John Kim is the only medical personnel on the flight who takes charge. He watches out for her even after they arrive home. After getting dumped by her boyfriend, Woo Im Shik, she finds that she has the press pass for John Kim and proceeds to (blackmail) convince him to help her loose the weight.
She discovers that Young Ho has a weakness for being a knight in shining armor. She moves in with him, Ji Woong and Jung Sung (Korean Snake), after a stalking incident causes her to sell her apartment. As they work on her physical transformation, both discover they feel more for each than what they will admit. As they grow closer they heal each other's emotional wounds and fall in love.

Have you watched this drama before?

OMG... another Korean drama... Zzzzz... No thanks... Maybe the final twist is that: The guy thought the girl not really love him due to some miscommunication, so end up after helping her slim down, he gave up and grow fat himself. Then two years later... bla bla bla @.@

SK is aware of this drama because our Astro shows the preview like every 30 minutes on all channels!! Crazy!!
I watch a lot of Korean programs over the 2 channels daily. I had to stop my wife from subscribing another 2 Korean channels for me to watch as I only have 2 eyes.

I didn't watch this Oh My Venus yet.

But the leading actor and leading actress don't match leh in Descendants of the Sun, the actor looks too young (like a kid) for the actress, anyway I prefer older and more mature man, that's why haha

It has been a very long time since I last watched a Korean drama but someone asked me to watch this one - Oh, my venus. I watched episodes 1,2,3 and then cannot stand it because too mushy but I want to know the ending so I watched episodes 14,15,16 to know the ending. That's it. Cannot bear to sit down and watch everything. I think I am too old for this young people show.
