I love reading

How smart girls can become richer
This is the book I am reading recently. To become rich and financially independent is everyone's dream, this book teaches you how to invest, how to bring in more income and more importantly how to spend. It all boils down to earn more and spend lesser and wiser in order to have more savings. This is a self-improvement book, sometimes it is good to read self-improvement books other than those romance novels and love stories.

But of course, I don't have so much extra cash to invest and I am not a risk taker and rather conservative so I will think twice about investing. Sometimes those investment companies play on the mindset of humans, they understand most humans will have greed, so they capitalize on that to attract investors.

That's the only thing my girl spends on. Everytime she comes back to town on weekends from her jungle school, she will drop by the bookstore and pick a book. My house is full of books.

Those companies that trick people to "invest" is not investment companies at all lah. A proper investor will invest by himself instead of entrust to some guru companies. Your own money leh, if you don't know what you are doing, then it is really risky.

reading is good, especially if you are reading self-help or self-improvement books.. they really give us lots of inspirations and motivations about life and how to make life better.. having said that, it's up to us whether to apply what we read, or purely serve that as a pastime purpose.. ;)

Good to always read self improvement books to know what is out there. But not all advices can be followed, need to know what you want that will suit your chosen lifestyle.

I used to love reading. I wouldn't let go of the book until I finished it. But now due to aging eye sight, I no longer read long hours.

I am always vary about those investments that made many people poorer instead.
I only trust those long term investment plans by insurance companies as their guaranteed interests are better than banks.
