Archive Photos - Visit to Beijing in 2004

Seeing Chris share about his China trip, I suddenly thought of sharing my trip to Beijing in 2004, so I search for the old archive photos, the details of the trip I can't really remember, but it was quite a lot of photo taking at Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven though.

Here are the photos (Click on the photo for larger image)
Fried scorpions, you dare to try?

But frankly speaking, I don't really like China firstly because I am not used to their food, their food are usually very spicy and oily and secondly I don't like their culture, their locals spit everywhere they go when I visited Beijing. It was also because I had bad experience there, I was not really feeling very well when I was in Beijing, fall sick due to catch a cold, I went to their local hospital and their staff was very rude and shouted at me. So I will give a second thought to visit China again. But of course, China has many places with beautiful sceneries.

Maybe I should also go back and dig up the old photos and share my trip to Beijing when I was 7 or 8 years old. :/

I won't be trying those fried scorpions. I've been to Beijing in 2003 in winter. Find the food to be quite ok.

I went to Beijing in 2007, it's a DIY trip, and I guess since they were preparing for the 2008 Olympics, many things has been improved.. I didn't have nasty experience except the very packed subway ride during peak hours, haha!!

I actually find Beijing quite a good place to be, I enjoyed visiting the historical sites very much especially the Forbidden City :)

I toured Beijing and stayed there for 9 days. I enjoyed my trip as we went to many extra places like the Underground City's tunnel and Ming Tombs to see the Emperor's coffin. So scary.

Don;t let one bad experience stop us from visiting again. You can see my blog side bars that I visited China many times and would go again every year if possible as it is still the cheapest country to visit in the world today.
