My past hobbies and interests

I used to roller skate and ice skate during my school days and younger days now old liao, the bones getting stiff and unable to balance anymore so I never skate anymore.

I was a badminton fanatic during my school days too and I love playing badminton. I was quite good at it too (shyless me).

I also played some pool games too during my younger days, it was quite fun.

Looking at my past hobbies and interests, I must say I am not the girly type because the above games are quite rough. I don't cook, bake nor sew too. So I must say I am like a boy when it comes to my interests and hobbies.

But wait, I do play the er-hu during my college days, is that considered a "girl" hobby?

I also learned Basic Japanese language and Korean language.

How about you? Any past hobby or interest which you have lost contact now?

Maybe you should start knitting and make quilt blankets as hobby & extra income.
I uses to go fishing, sailing and clubbing besides getting drunk with toxins.
These days I drink coffee by gallons and exercise often. Blogging is my hobby.

this is interesting... thanks for letting us know your past hobbies and interests...
and yeah.. i noticed that these are more athletic-ish hobbies.. so if we are on the same school and on the same school year, we may not be that close LOL.. coz I really do not participate in any sports at all...
My PE teacher was actually very disappointed to me.. cuz i got the height for our basketball team yet no knowledge or even skill about it haha

Hey I used to play badminton and pool too and was pretty good at them. In fact I was school team for badminton and I joined a couple of amateur pool tourneys before. But those were the days lah. Now I am just a fat bloke who spends most of my time in front of my laptop :(

I used to play pool, 9 ball and snooker too, during my high school days. :)

It was big back in the days. I also dabbed in badminton, was never good at it though. I remember roller skates were big in the early 90's with a lot of "roller skate discos" - this was before in-line skating but never really got into it.

I do like skating though but haven't skated in more than 5 years and don't think I can do all the tricks I used to be able to anymore - getting old dy, if I crash and burn, it'll be broken bones for sure, won't be able to shrug it off like I used to anymore (got a compound fracture while skating once, grinded down a staircase and snagged on the rung).

There's no palce to snowboard in Malaysia anyway.

Oh, I actually did professional gaming back in the days, was rated #42 in the world in Quake III Arena.

I'm trying to learn some new languages too - Japanese and French using software.

Same here, not doing any of the above now (except language and gaming but seldom have time and definitely not a professional). Mostly I just read (fiction and nonfiction) - mostly non-fiction but if I were to recommend a fiction book, the best (and only) one I read this year was Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. It's very good.
