Temples One Day Tour

Friday, 1st May is Labour Day in Singapore and it is a Pubic Holiday. I went to meet Jose to visit the temples near Raffles MRT and Tanjong Pagar MRT. The first temple we visited is Yuan Hai Qing Temple, after lunch at Lau Pa Sat, we took MRT to Tanjong Pagar and visited the second temple which I can't remember the name. The second temple is famous for giving 4D numbers and helping folks to strike. The third temple is Thian Hock Keng temple, here we met a Germany couple and explained the meaning of the auspicious words at the wishing well to them. We stopped twice for cold drinks because the weather was so hot.

After visiting the temples, we went Popular Bookshop at Bras Basah to buy books. It was a relief for us as we stepped into the air-conditioned bookshop. I will blog about the books I bought at a later post.

Here are some photos to share.
