Journal of an outing with my mom

Today I had an appointment with my mom, I had an appointment to meet her at Bugis after she went to meet her friends. Every time I go out with my mom, she will nag and nag about all kinds of things, sometimes I can't help but to talkback but after that I will regret. It is a love and hate relationship with my mom, yes I love her and "hate" her, I don't like when she nag and talk about "unnecessary" things. Sometimes I think she thinks too much but wait a minute, I think I am like her too, I also think too much. But she is old already and she always says don't know how long she would be with us. So even though it is sometimes a drag to go out with her, I treasure the time with her.

Today I had wanton noodles and mom had dong fen. At usual, she nag in the restaurant and keep chasing the poor waitress and asked when is our food ready. Haiz, she is like that.

After that we went to Chinatown Point to do a little shopping, then thereafter we went Clarke Quay to sit at the riverside to chit chat and chill.

And the joke of the day is she pronounced "Seng Shiong" supermarket as "Samsung", laugh die me.

This is my mom, she can make you laugh at her and love her and at the same time she can make you hate her too.

Mom, I love you though I might "hate" you sometimes.

That is the nature of a mum. I hate my mum nagged me too..after I became a mum myself then I realised the nagging is actually the love and concern of a mum to her children. I believe my daughters hate my nagging too..I nag because of love them :D

The old man just spoke about himself and all bloggers know his mouth. He hurt too many ladies and accepts no criticism from anyone. To me, not all old people are like this. I always spent hours chatting with my mum and we never argued even once. As you know she is sickly now, she still insists on paying everything!
