I am in love with my house and about lateness

I love my home sweet home, even though it might not be the best looking and most posh apartment, but I love it for giving me a comfortable and safe feeling. I love staying at home reading blogs and updating my blog. I am talking about the current moment, how I feel, I feel serene doing things in the comfort of my house. How about you? Are you in love with your house?

Sidetrack a bit, I was late for my appointment today to collect something from my friend and she just sped off in her car without waiting for me even though when I called her on my mobile phone, she is still around the meeting place. I ran and ran and rushed to the meeting place and she just called me on my mobile phone and tell me that she is going off. I know I am in the wrong in the first place as I am the one who is late but gosh when I reached she is still around the meeting place, can't she just wait for a few minutes for me to run to the exact spot. And she was so precise and said that I was late for 16 exact minutes. Ok, enough of my ranting, just trying to let out my anger, I know I am at fault in the first place because I was late but I just could not understand why people can't have a bit of sympathy and wait for me since I had made the trip and gone all the way to meet her to collect my stuff. How about you? What is your tolerance level for people who are late, 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins, longer or shorter?

I am always the one waiting. Usually I can stand for 20 minutes but there was one time I waited for more than an hour in airport. Sigh.

I would be pissed off with latecomers too, but then all my friends do that so I am used to it. I guess maybe your friend is in a hurry to get to another appointment? If not then it is really quite asshole behavior to drive off like that. If he is not in a hurry, already wait 16 minutes, what's with another couple of minutes?

Agnes: You mean if you are not in a hurry

I guess she's really in a bad mood. Why not call her to confirm the new time or new venue to wait rather than the same place?

Maybe your friend has another appointment to go to.

Dear Libby,

First of all, I would like to thank you so much for your visit and for all of your kind comments on several of my blog posts, you made my day and I really appreciate it.

I have an apartment with one bedroom and I do love it. I don't have much but I am happy and appreciate all that I have...and I love to spend time at home doing my blog, visiting friends' blogs and organizing things.
