All that's needed - 2 bulb of garlic, 5-8 slices of ginger, 2 star anise, 4-5 plums, 2 large tomatoes sliced into wedges.
Next ingredient is the salted vegetables. Soak in hot water for 15mins then rinse and soak in room temp water for a further 20mins to minimize the saltiness.
Place the ingredients into a soup pot and add water; boil it for 1-1.5hrs and it's done! No need to add any seasoning as the soup was already very tasty on its own.
